Who I Am

Agape Therapy Services and LBF Speech Communication Consulting  is owned and managed by Leasonna (Lea) Boozer-Fuller, MA, CCC-SLP / lfuller@agapetherapyservices.com.  I am a Spartanburg, SC native; a diehard Carolina Panthers, Chicago Bulls, and North Carolina A& T Aggie fan.  I have 18 years of experience in the field of Speech Pathology.  I have a Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology & Audiology from North Carolina A&T State University.  I have a Masters' degree in Speech Pathology & Audiology from South Carolina State University. I am a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), I have my Certificate of Clinical Competency, and I hold a Texas license in speech pathology.  I am certified in Myofascial Therapy, VitalStim & Ampcare provider, and NDT Play therapy.  My true passion in the "working world" is speech therapy.  As a retired military wife, I was always on the move, which has given me opportunities to work in many different settings!  I have worked in the following:  elementary school, middle school, high school, private clinics, state living center, hospitals, teletherapy, home health, and skilled nursing facilities.  My varied experiences helped me to be more well-rounded and the people I have met along the way have contributed to my knowledge base.  I also enjoy adapting materials and helping clients with various communication and swallowing needs.  I have worked with both children and adults with a variety of diagnoses and disorders.  I provide quality direction in the clinical setting as well as quality evidenced based therapy to my clients. I am a wife and  mother of 2 boys and  very active in my community.
